Dana grew up in Sanford and her father was en entrepreneur. While being a child, she had a boyish behaviour as she liked fishind or riding her bike instead of playing with cute little Barbie dolls.
She did pretty well at Arts and Science during highschool and after graduating she attended Campbell University where studied Psychiatric Social Work. Soon she started to practice fitness and quickly became addicted to it having James Brown as a personal fitness trainer.
Her career started in 2000 when she posed for several world’s magazines : MuscleMag, Muscular Development, Muscle & Fitness, International, and other magazines. Dana Hamm has been featured in more magazines pictorials than any other fitness model.
